Description

Responsibilities:

• Provide support and assistance to individuals in their daily activities
• Assist with personal care tasks such as bathing, dressing, and grooming
• Administer medications according to prescribed schedules
• Monitor and record vital signs and report any changes or concerns to the appropriate healthcare professionals
• Assist with light housekeeping duties, including cleaning and organizing living spaces
• Prepare meals and ensure dietary needs are met
• Provide companionship and engage in meaningful activities with clients
• Collaborate with healthcare professionals and family members to develop and implement care plans

Qualifications:

• Experience in senior care, dementia care, or related fields is preferred
• Knowledge of medication administration procedures and protocols
• Strong communication skills and the ability to effectively interact with clients, families, and healthcare professionals
• Compassionate and patient demeanor with a genuine desire to help others
• Ability to work independently and follow instructions accurately
• Flexibility to adapt to changing schedules and client needs
• Reliable transportation to travel to client homes or assisted living facilities
