Manage and lead the GRS Implementation Team.

This team is responsible for the accurate and timely installation of new Group Retirement Services clients and for managing major revisions for in-force clients.

They are accountable for meeting client expectations and delivering on agreed to targets for business-driven components of a project, in partnership with our clients & advisors, Operations and Business Development.


Main Accountabilities:

  • Provide leadership and direction to a highly skilled team of Implementation Specialist and Project Managers, dedicated to providing exceptional client service.
  • Manage the overall delivery of the portfolio of GRS projects and service supported by Group Plan Implementation
  • Manage workflow, work assignment and time tracking
  • Investigate and coordinate responses to escalated issues
  • Motivate, coach and develop team members to achieve their performance goals and skills
  • Manage resource and budget plans effectively
  • Work collaboratively with cross functional stakeholders to problem solve and improve systemic issues
  • Identify, prioritize and implement continuous process improvement to exceed our client's expectations.
  • Leverage data and analytics to identify gaps and opportunities in daytoday operation.
  • Recruit experienced staff, conduct performance reviews and manage performance issues
  • Participate in projects to ensure strategic initiatives and process changes are successful
  • Build strong relationships with Business Development and Operational partners
  • Exhibit strong communication, organizational and interpersonal skills to effectively manage the team and external customer relationships

Competencies:

  • Bilingualism (French, English) required
- immediate manager is a unilingual Anglophone outside Quebec

  • Strong people leader, experienced at developing and leading engaged high performance teams

  • Ability to collaborate effectively to improve the performance of endtoend outcomes processes
  • Strong organizational skills and ability to prioritize a wide range of tasks

  • As this position is posted in several locations, we specify that bilingualism (French, English, both oral and written) is required for Quebec only as the position reports to a unilingual Englishspeaking manager outside Quebec.

Assets:

  • Previous experience in Group Retirement Services environment
  • A bachelor's degree or equivalent business experience
