SUMMARY DESCRIPTION:

- ensure that finished goods are strapped, rapped and labeled correctly per customers specifications and supply dunnage for all molding machines

MAJOR RESPONSIBILITIES:

- monitor grinders and regrind loading systems to ensure they are functioning correctly.
- ensure all start-up scrap is taken to grinding room and ground up by the end of shift.
- ensure good housekeeping practices are maintained.
- tag each completed skid with the correct Bar code label.
- move finished goods production from the production area to the staging area for finished goods to be received into the warehouse.
- other duties as assigned by the Shift leader

Required:

Able to read and write English or French

Minimum high school education

Required:

Minimum (1) year working experience in a manufacturing environment preferred

Preferred:
Plastics experience

SKILLS:

Required:

Completion of Material handler's Training course in-house

GMP/GDP

Forklift Certification Training

Safety Training

Good mechanical aptitude

Team Player
