The Dufferin-Peel Catholic District School Board (DPCDSB) is a dynamic Catholic school board committed to the delivery of quality educational programs and services from a Catholic faith perspective.
DPCDSB, one of Ontario's largest school boards in Ontario, is comprised of approximately 73,000 students enrolled in 151 schools (125 elementary and 26 secondary) throughout the diverse GTA municipalities of Mississauga, Brampton, Caledon, and Orangeville.
DPCDSB employs approximately 8,000 faculty and staff to deliver and support its Catholic educational mission.Security Administrator

SALARY
Salary $62,146 - $77,226
QUALIFICATIONS
Community College diploma in Security Management, or a related field.
Minimum of five (5) years' experience in a school board or large physical plant environment.
Experience in security management or other security related field, preferred.
Experience and proficiency with various types of security systems software
Working knowledge of Alarm Panels an asset
OR
Equivalent combination of education and experience.
OTHER
QUALIFICATIONS/ADDITIONAL EXPERIENCE
Knowledge of privacy legislation.
Strong policy development and leadership experience.
Excellent strategic planning, issues management, analytical problem-solving, and negotiation skills.
Demonstrated knowledge of personal safety and security issues, regulations, and practices.
Demonstrated ability to respond to complaints involving safety and security concerns.
Demonstrated knowledge of emergency management procedures.
Ability to exercise considerable independent judgment, tact, and sensitivity in dealing with internal and external contacts.
Excellent time management skills and the ability to prioritize and successfully complete projects with conflicting deadlines and urgency.
Excellent oral and written communication skills
Excellent report writing and presentation skills.
Ability to work in a team environment as well as independently.
A valid driver's license and access to a vehicle.
