About the role:


OLIVER is looking for a Copywriter to join our remote team for our new financial services client As a Copywriter, you will create powerful and impactful copy for a range of digital and print marketing materials across various assets.


What you will be doing:


  • Ideate and produce original copy for digital, social media, print collateral, and any other copy needs within the department
  • Brainstorm visual and copy ideas as part of a creative team
  • Present and articulate concepts to clients
  • Align all messaging with client's business initiatives with the ability to speak to the financial industry
  • Work closely with the team to deliver all copy to ensure consistency and accuracy across all messaging to the agreed briefs and established brand guidelines
  • Follow and help build a tone of voice consistent to brand standards throughout all copy and proactively make recommendations to enhance end results
  • Be responsible for writing and ideation of creative that brings readership and enhances brand voice
  • Undertake or support research and develop an understanding of the client's target audience and competitor products
  • Focus on B2B and/or B2C campaign messaging with the aim of building awareness, engagement and acquisition of clients
  • Possess the ability to grasp how content will play out while thinking conceptually across multiple mediums

What you need to be great in this role:

  • Diploma or related degree in Journalism or Copywriting
  • 5+ years writing in an advertising agency or design firm
  • 3+ years in a Financial Services industry with solid knowledge of the industry
  • An impressive portfolio of relevant work
  • Creative storyteller who thinks outside the box
  • Knowledge of SEO best practices
  • Comfortable with quickly shifting/changing priorities
  • Prior experience managing crossfunctional projects and as you will be working with multiple briefs at a time
  • Exceptional attention to detail, ability to quality check your own work, with a proactive attitude and good communication skills
  • Ability to think conceptually across multiple mediums
  • Ownership and responsibility
  • Team player and a selfstarter
