Requirements Responsibilities include but are not limited to**:

  • Coordinating the mechanical shop floor activity in order to achieve OTD, productivity, profitability, quality and safety Key Performance Indicators (KPIs).
  • Assembling a skilled and knowledgeable team to pioneer the service experience / continuous improvement process to maximize efficiency, productivity and quality.
  • All pertinent documentation from start to completion of each job.
  • This includes entering of repair orders in ESM, coordinating parts/component requisitions and working with Procurement/Customer Service as required, fulfilling the service orders.
  • Ensures all work is performed safely, on time, and with the highest level of quality.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities include the following. Other duties may be assigned.

  • Generate and review production schedule daily. Coordinate mechanical execution of each job
  • Train employees as required on Reciprocating Compressors and components.
  • Document training; to be included in HOE training matrix
  • Work closely with management to achieve OTD, Efficiency, Productivity, Quality and other BI metrics/KPI's
  • Expedite parts and equipment purchases in order to successfully achieve OTD for each order.
  • Generate notification (Non-Conformance) as required.
  • Communicate required labor demands, in advance, to management
  • Participate in quality, safety and production meetings as required.
  • Coordinate shipment of orders upon completion.
  • Work with Customer Service on sales orders.
  • Work closely with outside sales and satisfy customer requirements.
  • Satisfy safety training requirements for branch
  • Balance competing priorities, scheduling issues and deadlines
  • Manage cost of quality and expedience

What you should bring with you Education and/or Experience**- Minimum 5 years experience in the Compression repair and service business

  • Proven leadership ability
  • High sense of urgency
  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience.
