Job Summary

The primary responsibilities of this role are the kitting of parts, the accurate recording of inventory/trace transactions in ERP system and assisting in the completion of cycle counts.

Other responsibilities of this role are packaging of finished goods for delivery to customers and aiding in the movement of raw material within and between warehouses.

Primary Duties & Responsibilities

Prepare, sort, and kit parts in a manufacturing setting.
Prepare customer orders for shipping.
Movement of raw materials within and between warehouses.
Periodic overtime at peak times.
Backup shipping and receiving clerk

Other Related Duties:

Accurate recording of all inventory and trace transactions in ERP system.
Respond to requests for kits & consumables by manufacturing in a timely fashion.
Maintain limited number of consumables not on reorder point.
Completion of cycle counts.
Other duties as required.

Qualifications

12 years' experience in an inventory and material handling role.
Familiar with lot/batch/trace control is considered a key asset.
Understanding of basic inventory control practices.
Comfortable using computers. (Experience with Microsoft Office and inventory software).
Strong attention to detail.
Heavy lifting required at times pounds).
3 years of forklift experience.
Experience loading and unloading racking on a sitdown counterbalance forklift.
Valid G level driver's license with a clean driving record.
Ability to obtain a Controlled Goods Clearance will be required.
Comfortable working outdoors at all times of the year when required.
Crate building experience is considered an asset.
Familiar with Quality Management Systems is considered an asset.
Experience with an ERP System is considered an asset.
Ability to work under tight timelines.
Ability to work well within a team.
