Description
We are an independent elevator & escalator maintenance, repair, manufacturing and installation company seeking to develop operations across North American through both M&A and greenfield expansion.
The Accounts Receivable Clerk will report to the Senior Accountant and will be responsible for ensuring timely issuance and collection of invoices.
Responsibilities:
- Review new maintenance contracts and ensure accuracy of data in the operational software
- Run automated monthly maintenance invoicing at the beginning of each month
- Review weekly chargeable calls from Maintenance Supervisor and issue invoices according to customer contracts
- Review weekly progress of projects including Quoted Service, Modernization and New Construction with Project Managers and issue progress invoices
- Send monthly statements for overdue accounts and follow up via phone
- Respond to clients queries as needed and work with Sales team to provide good customer service
Qualifications:
- Excellent oral and written English communication skills and strong attention to detail
- Someone who enjoys communicating and building relationships with clients to increase success of collections
- Excellent organization and time management skills, critical thinking, and the ability to manage and prioritize multiple tasks
- Prior experience in the elevating device industry or as an AR clerk is an asset but not required
- Experience using Microsoft D365 Business Central is an asset but not required
Salary:
$40,000.00-$50,000.00 per year

Experience:
- Accounts receivable: 1 year (preferred)
