Project Manager.
Description
The Project Manager in this role will assist with portfolio materials management and may also manage a portfolio of Sustaining Capital projects within the Department.
The projects will range in size and complexity but will require strict adherence to scope, safety, schedule, cost & quality metrics.
Role Accountabilities:
- Execute preliminary or detailed project scoping, engineering design, scheduling, cost estimation, procurement, supervision, construction management, and project controls.
- Ownership of materials management for select projects including Bill of Material generation, procurement, expediting/tracking, and validating receipts.
- Operate and interact within a multidisciplinary environment to allow an understanding across all facets of their projects.
- Collaborate across departments within the organization will play a key role in this position, particularly through project scoping, front end planning, and execution coordination with operations stakeholders.
Qualifications:
- 310 years experience in project engineering/management or construction management
- Experience delivering projects in an operating plant or brownfield environment is an asset.
- P.Eng or EIT registered in SK
- PMP designation is an asset
- Broad engineering and construction knowledge in all disciplines is an asset.
- Demonstrated project management experience.
- Strong people management and leadership experience
- Positive cando attitude, strong work ethic
- Strong problem solving skills.
- Organized, selfmotivated, and able to manage competing priorities.
- Strong written/verbal communication, emotional intelligence
