- Training Date: Monday June 3, evening ~4 hours
- Clinic Dates: June 4, 5, 6, ~12-14 hours (including lunch & break times)
- Registered Nurse and in good standing with the British Columbia College of Nurses and Midwives
- Current CPR/First-Aid Certificate
- Significant experience with physical assessments
- Advanced communication skills
- Ability to manage less than optimal patient experience issue
- Ability to trouble-shoot alongside the Clinical Supervisor performing biometric screening tests
- Comfortable with glucometers, vital signs, point of care cholesterol testing (with training)
- Excellent decision-making and problem solving skills
- Excellent time management skills
- Ability to function collaboratively within a multi-disciplinary team and/or independently
- Patient oriented, with the ability to effectively work with diversity and appreciation that people with different opinions, backgrounds and characteristics bring richness to the challenge or situation at hand
- Computer and technical skills required
- Participate in the set-up of the clinic
- Assist in maintaining the flow of clinic
- Provide clinical assessment to participants
- Collaborates with Clinical Supervisor and Admin personnel to ensure a safe an efficient clinic
- Participate in packing-up the clinic supplies at the end of clinic day
- Ensures that all copies of participant report cards are collected, kept secure and returned to the Clinical Supervisor at the end of the clinic
- Ensures safe work practices by adhering to Health and Safety rules and regulations
- Maintain a profession code of conduct at all times while at the client's workplace
- Participates in proactive Health & Safety activities while performing all duties. Is responsible to notify immediate Managers and Directors of any Health & Safety risks or concerns. Responsible for ensuring the caregiver completes an Accident Report within 24 hours of the incident
- Maintains confidentiality of patient and corporate information and discusses details only with appropriate personnel

*GENERAL SUMMARY*The Biometric Screening Assessment Nurse supports the testing and health teaching phase of the patient appointment. The Assessment Nurse works collaboratively with to patients (employees/participants) and other caregivers to deliver workplace biometric screening assessments.
The successful candidate will have outstanding organizational skills, experience working in fast-paced environment and having the ability to successfully prioritize and manage multiple duties.
