Position Overview

Compensation:
$25.00/hr

Position Type: 12-month contract, 37.5 hours/week

Key Responsibilities

Prepare costbenefit analyses
Analyze operating system and production data for efficiencies
Assist in the development of operational and maintenance procedures, ensure sufficient communication across all shift teams
Support projects related to environmental compliance and improvement
Contribute to sustainable operations and greenhouse gas reduction targets
Test and audit plant systems
Complete failure investigations and support root causes analyses
Support shutdown maintenance activities by acting as confined space entry monitor
Conduct data analysis and prepare written reports
Complete field inspections
Develop technical specifications and instructions, prepare training materials as required

Qualifications

Education/Experience

Bachelor of Applied Science
Preferred disciplines include: Chemical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Environmental Engineering
Bachelor of Science
Preferred specializations include: Environmental Science
0+ years experience, new graduates welcome

Knowledge/Skills Required

Proficient computer skills, experience with MS Excel and/or SAP a plus
