JLL is currently seeking a dynamic individual for the role of Intern to provide reliable, timely, and efficient support to our Retail Brokerage team in Vancouver.

The position entails working with a diverse group of internal and external Stakeholders at all levels of the organization, and the individual will require the independent judgment to plan, prioritize, and organize a diverse workload.

Retail Tenant Representation Group & Retail Agency Leasing

Gather market information and provide support for the retail brokerage team
Prepare for pitches and create other marketing materials using Adobe software
Participate in weekly team meetings, intern meetings and mentor/mentee meetings
Support proposal process
Learn the daily operations of leasing and selling retail spaces
Participate in site visits to compile tenant information
Participate in market tours with retail clients (tenant representation)
Help create and organize marketing material for tour packages
Understand the retail markets and identify new opportunities for retail clients

QUALIFICATIONS
Currently enrolled in Post-secondary education in Commerce, Economics, Business Administration, Urban Economics, Urban Planning, Marketing, Urban Geography, or related programs
Experience in the commercial real estate sector is considered an asset but not required
Demonstrated proficiency with all applicable software packages including but not limited to MS Windows; MS Office, including MS Word, Excel, Outlook, and PowerPoint
Experience using Adobe Creative Cloud programs is an asset (Photoshop, InDesign, Acrobat, among others

Good verbal and written communication skills
Professional yet personable demeanor
Must be self-motivated and proactive
Excellent time management and organizational skills
Must be able to adapt and prioritize, meeting deadlines, in a fast-paced environment
Must operate with a sense of urgency, quickly responding to Stakeholders
Must be able to work well independently with an ability to work collaboratively with others
