    ACCOMMODATIONSJOB OVERVIEW**
    KEY ACCOUNTABILITIES
  • Monitor trends and developments of strategic importance to the energy sector.
  • Conduct industry research and develop business intelligence summaries to support key decision makers.
  • Support OPG's strategic plan and growth plan, including the analysis of potential strategic partnerships, mergers and acquisitions and investments.
  • Support OPG's innovation strategy through the identification and assessment of strategic investment opportunities.
  • Support various business development initiatives and projects.
  • Support project management activities, such as cost and schedule updates, business case approvals, documentation/drawings transfers, gathering, recording and implementing lessons learned.
  • Support financial modelling of new business development opportunities.
  • Develop briefing materials for senior leadership on any of the above matters, as required.
  • Collaborate with crossfunctional teams to help drive business development initiatives.

EDUCATION

  • Minimum completion of
    1st
    term of a fulltime Master of Business Administration (MBA) program. A finance or engineering background would be an asset.
    QUALIFICATIONS
  • Enrolled in fulltime graduate
- level studies at a post-secondary institution.

  • Have a minimum average of 70% cumulative GPA.
  • Returning to fulltime studies in the same program following the completion of the work term OR requiring the work term to graduate
  • Achieve and maintain a valid security clearance.
  • Expertise in financial modelling and an ability to keep up to date with external market trends.
  • Strong research, communication, analysis & collaboration skills as well as good foundational knowledge of the energy sector in Ontario.
  • Demonstrable capacity to manage multiple priorities in a fastpaced environment.
