    Large and prestigious Burnaby Company is looking for a temporary Office Supervisor to join their team.

    Duration of contract: 3 months (with possibility of extension)


    Location:
    Burnaby, BC


    Salary:
    Up to $30/hr


    Responsibilities and Duties:

    • Oversees a small team that keeps the day/day functions of HO and other sites up and running
    • Oversees provision of first-level support for office facility technology and systems for Home Office and satellite locations.
    • Oversees procurement administration for assigned service
    • Assist with scheduling – covering shifts for lunch breaks
    • Assist with the documentation or structure of newly forming manual
    • Complete supervisor tasks via SDR
    • Approvals for procurement
    • Gatekeeper for the team and ensuring all inquiries are handled
    • Support for in person and on the phone escalations
    • Liaise with different departments to assist with facility needs
    • Assist with fleet – modo cars or any other transportation

    Skills, Knowledge and Abilities Required:

    • 3 + year's office administration experience
    • Previous management/supervisory experience
    • Professional with great attention to detail in work
    • Advanced MS Office skills in particular Excel and Word
    • Excellent communication skills – both verbal and written
    • Diploma in commerce or business administration or other relevant fields
    • Considerable experience in managing administration activities within a fast-paced, complex environment
    • Sound knowledge of the practices of managing an office for a senior executive
    • Excellent organizational, analytical, problem-solving, time management and expediting skills
    • Effective organizational and time management skills with the ability to multi task in a fast paced environment
    • Ability to work with confidential information
    • Experience with scheduling & calendar management and admin support
    • Ability to work independently and in a team environment
    • Deal with confidential/sensitive matters and external stakeholders with tact
    • Experience in the public sector/gov't
    • Customer service background
    • Has reception background or has operated a switchboard
