Job Purpose


The Fleet Administrator will be responsible for supporting the Fleet Manager through the administrative process and the organization of vehicle deliveries.

The Fleet Administrator will handle all administrative duties as well assist where required with quote tenders under supervision of Fleet Manager.


Core Accountabilities

  • As vehicles ordered arrive review documentation in the files to ensure the above is complete prior to booking of any deliveries.
  • Under the supervision of the Fleet Manager, as required, assist in organizing fleet proposals through the One Eighty portal as it relates tenders.
  • Assist the Fleet Manager with organizing appointments for previous fleet clients, scheduling test drives, and assist in correspondence with clients where directed responding to enquiries regarding vehicle orders.
  • Assist with Ministry of Transportation visits when related to Fleet sales.
  • Represent the dealership where required as related to MB/ Sprinter brand special events, i.e. ride and drives, sprinter open house etc.
  • Assist Fleet Manager in all areas of the Fleet department where required.

Requirements:


  • Excellent communication skills and customer service, including written and verbal skills to communicate with all levels of the organization.
  • High school diploma or equivalent.
  • Previous experience working in a dealership setting with basic knowledge of vehicles and maintenance requirements is an asset.
  • Ability to prepare business memos, letters, etc.
  • Strong knowledge of Microsoft Office products, including Excel and Word.
  • Ability to maintain filing systems and database.
  • Professional appearance & friendly disposition.
  • Ability to work efficiently in a highpressure environment.
  • Valid Ontario G Driver's Licence.
  • Clear Driver's Abstract.
  • Valid OMVIC registration is an asset.
  • Strong business acumen.
