Job summary
8+ years of experience in SDLC projects with the following skills Experience with the .NET framework including languages like C# ASP.NET and potentially VB.NET to understand application logic and data access layers e.g. ADO.NET Entity Framework Familiarity with SQL Server Integration Services SSIS for data migration ETL and SQL Server Reporting Services SSRS or Power BI for reporting Lead the planning testing and execution of SQL Server upgrades e.g. from SQL 2016 to SQL 2022 with minimal downtime Collaborate with application development teams to ensure .NET applications built on C# ASP.NET VB.NET etc remain compatible and perform optimally after the upgrade Work with DB team to plan & implement data migration strategies including ETL processes SSIS ensure data quality integrity And security throughout the migration Knowledge in Java is a plus Insurance domain knowledge is a plus Experience with AWS specifically with cloud-based SQL database solutions
