Manager Regional Trucking:

Reporting to the Vice-President, Distribution Services, the Manager will lead a team to effectively plan, dispatch, and support our regional fleets in both Edmonton and Calgary.

The Manager will work closely with the Transload Operations and Customer Service teams to coordinate the liquid, deck, and dry products delivery with the rail and transload schedules, while meeting customer expectations.

The Manager, Regional Trucking will collaborate with the Manager, Linehaul to coordinate fleet availability and optimization to maximize efficiencies, meet operational demands and take into consideration the needs of their collective driver fleets.

The Manager works closely with various stakeholders to ensure the regional fleet is safe and meets regulatory and Kleysen standards.

As part of the DS leadership team, the Manager will contribute to the daily, weekly, and monthly objectives to ensure success of Distribution Services' goals and objectives.

Deck (flatbed) commercial transportation experience required.
Demonstrated ability to lead and collaborate within a multidisciplinary team.
Driver orientated approach to engage, listen, and support driver success.
Strong approach to safety and operating within Kleysen and regulatory standards.
In depth understanding of the business landscape in Western Canada
Excellent time management and organizational skills, able to handle high volumes of work and changing demands.
Proficient in Microsoft Office suite, and able to learn various transportation software (Isaac elogs, Truckmate, etc.)
Ability and willingness to attend after hours meetings and events with some travel as required.
Excellent oral and written communication skills in working closely with various stakeholders.
