Purpose

  • They will work with a crossfunctional team, providing leadership to ensure data consistency by implementing data standards and decisions relate to field structure usage and changes. This position is a high contributor to data governance initiatives to ensure that CRM data integrity is met and will support the migration of data to future CRM projects.
  • Investigates the issues identified by internal users and external vendors and works toward a solution.
  • Creates and modifies VBA code on import profiles of the omaticimport tool as needed.
  • Creates and modifies SSRS/Power BI/.Net Web Application Report as needed
  • Identifies and merges duplicates constituent records (using Mergician to perform global merges) on monthly basis
  • Runs Address Verification and format validation monthly (using iAddress software)
  • Creates and schedule a SSRS report to capture the quality check errors
  • Corrects data errors by creating and running routine reports and queries (Raiser's Edge global change/update or RE import)
  • Performs Quality Check on Finder File (SQL query) twice a year (Spring and Fall)
  • Helps to identify and implement efficient data importing, and data extraction processes
  • Manages and maintains the importOmatic profiles, RemitSQL scanning profiles
  • Responsible to maintain and translate all business rules into ImportOmatic Profile correctly
  • Creates and maintains templates for receipts and thank you letters in CRM
  • Prepares export files and sends to vendor as per prescribed timelines in a secure manner
  • Creates and maintains CRM, Remit SQL, LanCrypt user's accounts
  • Maintains the security of data and PCI compliance
  • Maintains CRM/Raiser's Edge Configuration, Tables and business rules
  • Performs Global Add/Change/Delete in Raiser's Edge
  • Maintains tasks related to quality of data and data import/export (ie. IMS Cultivation Export, data for EN Quality Reports, Syncovery jobs)
  • Works with the Manager to develop strategic direction and associated tactical plans
  • Creates/updates configuration documentation for Raiser's Edge and all RE related plugins and business rules (including Remit SQL, Mergician, Omatic, etc.)
  • Prepares for and leadsthe Raiser's Edge committee
  • Conducts Raiser's Edge and/or Remit SQL training sessions for new staff
  • Promotes data culture in Development & Communications department

Qualifications:


  • University degree or College Diploma in Computer Science/Math/Engineering or related field
  • 4 years in an Application or IT/IS support environment
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office, Word Mail Merge, Power Query and VBA code is a requirement
  • Experience working with MS SQL Query is a requirement
  • Experience with Blackbaud Raiser's Edge, Importomatic, AKA raisin, Engaging Networks, Syncovery, Mergician, iAddress are assets
  • Understanding of fundraising and or direct marketing methodology are assets
