We are currently hiring one Operations Coordinator for Mississauga, Ontario, for a temporary 6-months contract.

Your mission at GardaWorld:

Reporting to the Operations Manager, you will support the Secured Transport team within our Cash Services Division. On a daily basis, you will be responsible for coordinating day-to-day operations and answering customer requests.

On a typical day you will:

Support the management team to plan and organize day-to-day activities
Investigate to verify and resolve customers' and shippers' complaints
Serve as a contact person for all workers from assigned territories
Promote safe work activities by conducting safety audits, attending company safety meetings, and meeting with individual staff members
Monitor operations to ensure that our customers are serviced in a timely fashion
Collaborate with other supervisors and staff members in order to formulate and implement policies, procedures, goals, and objectives
Prepare management recommendations, such as proposed fee or schedule changes

Your profile:

5 years of customer service, preferably in the logistics or transport sector
2 years' experience in administration and management of unionized employees (asset)
Available to work on an overnight schedule, if needed
Excellent written and verbal communication skills (English)
Proficient in Microsoft Word, Excel, Outlook, and PowerPoint
Valid driver's license with a good driving record
Driven by offering exceptional customer service
Sense of urgency, outstanding communication, and problem solving
Strong teamwork and partnership orientation
Mechanical and/or electrical inclination is an asset
Experience training and coaching is an asset
