Term:

This position will commence August 29, 2023.

Avonlea School is a Kindergarten to Grade 12 school with a student population of approximately 134 students and a teaching staff of 10 FTE.

Avonlea School is located in south central part of Saskatchewan and located 72 kilometers from Moose Jaw and 53 kilometers from Regina.

Avonlea School is a thriving learning environment with an active School Community Council (SCC), who values academic excellence and extra-curricular opportunities and community involvement.

Prairie South School Division operates 39 schools with a total enrolment of over 7,300 students. The division covers an area stretching from Craik in the north to the U.S.

border in the south, and Mankota in the west to Rouleau in the east, and includes the city of Moose Jaw.

Duties:

As outlined in the Education Act, 1995.

Qualifications:

Bachelor of Education degree
Masters degree is an asset
Must hold or be eligible for a Saskatchewan Professional A teacher certificate

Salary & Benefits:

Salary and benefits are in accordance with the currently negotiated Provincial Collective Bargaining Agreement and Locally Negotiated Teacher Agreement.
