    Avaya Platform Project Manager

    Job Overview:

    As an Avaya Platform Project Manager, you will play a pivotal role in overseeing the planning, execution, and closure of information technology projects with a specific focus on Avaya platforms and hybrid agile-waterfall methodologies. This position involves managing low to moderately complex projects within a Telecom environment throughout their entire lifecycle, ensuring successful delivery on time and within budget.

    Key Responsibilities:

    In this role, your responsibilities include collaborating with key stakeholders to define and capture project requirements for new IT initiatives, ensuring that project scoping aligns with Avaya platform objectives. You will develop comprehensive project plans encompassing activities, timelines, resource allocation, budget allocation, and quality metrics, tailored to Avaya projects. Leading project kickoff meetings will be crucial to establish clear objectives, define roles and responsibilities, and assess potential risks specific to Avaya platforms.

    Your role as an Avaya Platform Project Manager involves overseeing day-to-day project activities, meticulously tracking progress and milestones, and proactively identifying and addressing any schedule or budget deviations, ensuring that Avaya platform projects stay on track. You will chair status update meetings, engaging project team members, and maintaining visibility for executive stakeholders to keep them informed about Avaya project progress. Additionally, you will present reports on project quality, utilization trends, and progress toward key performance indicators (KPIs) specific to Avaya platform initiatives.

    Executing change control and risk management processes will be critical to ensuring that Avaya platform projects align with business needs and addressing any risks or changes that may arise during project execution.     Qualifications:

    Methodology Knowledge: Working knowledge of Agile, Waterfall, and Hybrid project management approaches.

    Certifications: Certification in project management (e.g., PMP, SAFe, CSM, etc.).

    Key Skills: Outstanding analytical, organizational, and leadership abilities, especially when managing Avaya platform projects.

    Mandatory Skills:

    IT Expertise: A strong understanding of IT infrastructure, networks, systems, and software applications, enabling you to manage integrated technology projects effectively, particularly in the context of Avaya platforms.

    Project Management Tools: Hands-on experience with project management software tools such as MS Project, Jira, etc.

    SDLC Knowledge: Familiarity with SDLC methodologies and integration best practices, particularly relevant to Avaya projects.
