What you'll bring

  • Registered Pharmacy Technician with the PEI College of Pharmacy with an active PEI license.
  • An excellent work ethic, ability to multitask and communicate with clients in a pleasant manner.
  • You have a Client Care mindset, attentive, organized, demonstrated collaborative approach to working with other pharmacy team members, passion for pharmacy and patient care, takes initiative, empathetic, works efficiently and accurately.
  • A meticulous attention to detail and provide exceptional care always.
  • You are a driven with excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • You are used to working in a fastpaced environment, juggling multiple demands and establishing work priorities and goals
  • You are flexible, adaptive to changing work schedules and routine.
  • Experience working with Kroll would be an asset

How You'll Spend Your Time


As a member of the Murphy's Pharmacies team, as a
Full-Time Registered Pharmacy Technician you will be working in a team environment while collaborating with other healthcare professionals.


  • You'll be assisting the pharmacist with the preparation, packaging and distribution of prescriptions.
  • Order prescription medications, diabetes supplies and behind the counter OTC medications as well as receive and verify pharmaceutical orders, as well as processing third party billing
  • Provide knowledgeable and exceptional client care by greeting and acknowledging waiting clients, ensuring that service is maintained at levels above industry standards both in person and on the phone.
  • Maintain client and drug information files and gathering all necessary information while ensuring the completeness of information
  • Accurate dispensing of all prescriptions within provincial guidelines and regulations, assurance that prescriptions are complete and authentic
  • Perform the final technical check of prepared prescriptions
  • You will be responsible for accurately and efficiently completing all cash register transaction in a courteous, prompt and accurate manner.
  • Demonstration a Professional work ethic, ensuring confidentiality of client records and medical information.
  • Contributing to promoting a positive, friendly, safe, and healthy environment for all team members and clients.
