    The General Manager Role at Columbia Icefields


    The role of the General Manager at Columbia Icefields is a leadership position that oversees the operations of various hospitality experiences. These include world-class attraction experiences, food and beverage outlets, lodging facilities, staff camps, and management of The Glacier Discovery Center.


    This senior-level position requires an individual who can foster a culture of safety first and maintain high employee engagement levels. Additionally, this person must be able to develop strategies for maintaining quality products and services while providing feedback on marketing efforts.


    Responsibilities:


    • Maintain Safety First as company core value with all employees following set Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs)
    • Develop Strategies to: Maintain Employee Engagement & Evaluate Performance Enhance Quality Products & Hospitality through ongoing improvement processes Provide Recommendations enhancing success Marketing Efforts
