    Event:Variety Village is working with RBC and Marigolds & Onions to bring a fun and rare volunteer experience to Canada's biggest golf tournament of the year We are currently recruiting volunteers who have experience working in customer service and the food/beverage industry.Who We Are and Why Volunteer With Us:Located in Southwestern Scarborough, Ontario, Variety Village is an inclusive, adaptive, and family-friendly facility serving more than 30,000 individuals each year. Variety Village has had, and continues to have, a profound impact on the lives of people with disabilities and their families. Through adaptive sport and recreation programming, outreach and education, Variety promotes inclusion and healthy living through adapted physical activity.Orientation/Training:
    • Training will be provided through Variety, the Children's Charity
    • An application form will be sent to you and must be filled and completed before the day of the event
    • Volunteers are required to wear a Variety, the Children's Charity t-shirt, provided to you on the event dayInterested applicants are encouraged to complete the sign-up form here:


    • Due to the nature of this position, volunteers must be physically able to stand for the entirety of the shift
    • Due to the nature of this event, volunteers need to be 19 years old and up
    • Please be prepared to volunteer in rain or shine

    Certification or Education Required


    • Strong communication and customer service skills
    • Enthusiastic, friendly, and punctual
    • Ability to work in a team environment
    • Dependable, flexible and adaptable approach to work
    • SMART SERVE Certification and/or Food Handlers Certification is an asset but not required
