Required

• Ability to commute: Camrose, AB: reliably commute or plan to relocate before starting work
• Schedule: Monday to Friday; Night shift rotation; Weekends as needed
• Must Be: Flexible to work varied shifts, weekends, or on‑call assignments as required
• Shift: Must be able to work 10‑hour shifts

Essential Job Functions

General Duties

• Perform multiple tasks within the pipe coating processing plant
• Operate panels to ensure pipe coating process remains constant
• Assist in the foam application process
• Assist in maintenance of foam equipment, inspect foam coating
• Assist in shutdowns and startups
• Assist Forklift Operators in loading and offloading pipe
• Perform pipe rack construction and maintenance
• Assist in preparation for truck loading and offloading
• Participate in safety/toolbox meetings
• Participate in on‑the‑job training and any additional training
• Maintain proper housekeeping in assigned work area
• Other duties as required

Qualifications

Qualifications & Skills

• Knowledge of the standard methods, materials, tools, equipment and procedures utilized with all coating types – a plus but not required
• Knowledge of occupational hazards and safety precautions which are applicable to the work – a plus but not required
• Ability to work overtime
• High School diploma or equivalent preferred
• Must be able to pass pre‑employment drug test
• Experience a plus – but NOT required

Physical Demands

• Raise/lower or move objects horizontally.
• Frequent wrist/hand motions.
• Ability to lift, push, and pull up to 50 lbs (23 kg)
• Ability to respond quickly to sounds.
• Must be able to move safely over uneven terrain or in confined spaces.
• Visual acuity required for accuracy and thoroughness of work.
• Standing/walking for more than 90% of shift, including long distances.
• Ability to work in extreme weather.

Work Environment

• Manufacturing and industrial setting
• Exposure to hazards associated with electrical and industrial trade work
• Use of required personal protective equipment (PPE), including steel‑toed boots, safety glasses/goggles, and other safety gear
• Overtime may be required
• Active industrial shop with exposure to dust, noise, varying temperatures, and heavy machinery
• Frequent use of PPE including gloves, safety glasses, hearing protection, and dust masks as required.

Education & Certifications

• High School Diploma, GED, or equivalent
