Responsibilities:


  • Measure and cut lumber to specified dimensions.
  • Assemble frames using a variety of tools and techniques.
  • Install windows, doors, and other components of the frame.
  • Securely fasten components together with nails, screws, and other fasteners.
  • Inspect frames for accuracy and quality.
  • Maintain a safe work environment by following safety protocols.

Experience:


  • 612 months
  • Foreman 10+ years

Language:


  • English or Punjabi

Salary:
$20.00-$40.00 per hour


Flexible Language Requirement:

  • English not required
  • French not required

Schedule:

  • 8 hour shift
  • Day shift
  • Monday to Friday
  • Weekend availability

Supplemental pay types:

  • Signing bonus

Ability to commute/relocate:

  • Surrey, BC: reliably commute or plan to relocate before starting work (required)

Experience:

- carpentry: 1 year (preferred)
