Overview:
We are seeking a skilled Drywall Finisher to join our team. As a Drywall Finisher, you will be responsible for preparing and finishing interior walls and ceilings. This is a hands-on role that requires attention to detail and the ability to work independently.
Duties:
- Measure, cut, and install drywall panels according to blueprints and specifications
- Repair damaged drywall by patching or replacing sections
- Caulk gaps and seams for a seamless appearance
- Ensure all work meets quality standards and is completed in a timely manner
- Ability to tile, hang doors, install flooring and trim a benefit
- Valid G Driver's Licence is a must
Requirements:
- Proven experience as a Drywall Finisher or similar role
- Strong knowledge of carpentry techniques and construction painting
- Ability to read blueprints and interpret specifications
- Excellent attention to detail and problemsolving skills
- Physical stamina to perform manual labor for extended periods of time
- Ability to work independently with mínimal supervision
Skills:
- Proficient in drywall installation, taping, mudding, and sanding techniques
- Knowledge of building codes and regulations related to drywall finishing
- Strong understanding of caulking techniques for sealing gaps and seams
Salary:
$22.00-$25.00 per hour
Expected hours: 40 per week
Schedule:
- Monday to Friday
Supplemental pay types:
- Overtime pay
