Key Responsibilities:


Technical Responsibilities:


  • Testing and QA during implementation and ongoing use of new software systems.
  • Documented problems and associated resolutions and analyze trends for ways to prevent repeated future problems.
  • Create and deploy feedback mechanisms for end users. Analyze results, make recommendations for support process improvement, and implement changes.
  • Prioritize and schedule problems. Escalate problems (when required) to the appropriately experienced technician.

Business Responsibilities:


  • Communicate regularly with business stakeholders on problem investigation and resolution.
  • Provide status reporting as defined by the Manager.

Operational Management:


  • Document all pertinent end user identification information, including name, department, contact information, and nature of problem or issue.
  • Prioritize, schedule, and administer all instances where enhancements and defect resolution are required.
  • Record, track, and document the problemsolving process, including all successful and unsuccessful decisions made, and actions taken, through to final resolution.
  • Test fixes and perform postresolution followups to ensure problems have been adequately resolved.
  • Assisting adding or removing users, scheduling reports and performing ad hoc outbound call campaigns when requested by operations.

Knowledge, Skills, Abilities and Competencies:


  • College diploma or university degree in the field of computer science, information systems
  • 4 years IT work experience (must have experience with Five9 Application support)
  • 2 years preferred in the waste industry
  • Proven experience with troubleshooting principles, methodologies, and issue resolution techniques
  • Able to develop and interpret technical documentation for training and end user procedures
  • Have familiarity with overall architecture and systems integration
  • Self-Starter with strong organizational skills
  • Ability to conduct training and educating the business stakeholder
  • Must be user focused and foster good customer relations
  • Excellent problem solving and analytical skills
  • Willingness to work in a fastpaced constantly changing environment
  • Be able to travel as required
  • Experience working in a teamoriented, collaborative environment
