    The Clinical Perfusionist sets up, operates and maintains the heart lung machine and related equipment such as the intra-aortic balloon pump, autotransfusion devices, ecmo and vads.

    The incumbent is responsible for routinely checking all hardware and maintaining perfusion-related equipment and disposables stock on an ongoing basis.

    • Blood gas analysis to ensure accurate patient care delivery throughout surgical procedures.
