- Serve as the Aircraft Supersystem Integration for the Conflict Detection & Resolution (CD&R) function.
- Help drive the development and validation of the Gen 6 Supersystem L0 Specification, support trade studies to inform the creation and allocation of requirements, and ensure consistent decomposition of requirements from L0 to L3 for the CD&R function.
- Help maintain the company's Operational Description Document(s) and required infrastructure and operational support service System Description Document(s) (SDD) and Interface Control Document(s) (ICD) Vertiport System Description Document (SDD) and Interface Control.
- Ensure the successful L0 integration: no functional gaps or overlaps across the supersystem by working closely with the Wisk Aircraft, Autonomy, Airline, Flight Test, Certification teams and with other Aircraft Supersystem Integrators.
- Bachelor of Science in Engineering or related technical discipline required; Electrical, Mechanical, Aerospace, or Systems Engineering preferred.
- 10+ years of aviation or defense industry experience; Unmanned Aircraft Systems (UAS) or autonomous systems highly valued.
- Expert in defining, managing, and validating complex sets of requirements.
- Deep understanding of the development and certification of complex, integrated, safety-critical aircraft systems.
- Experience with Model Based Systems Engineering principles and tools (e.g., Cameo).
- MS or PhD in aerospace (or related field) engineering degree.
- Experience with TCAS II (DO-185B), ADS-B (DO-260C and DO-282C), Mode S (DO-181F), GPWS (DO-161A), TAWS (DO-367), GCAS, Aeronautical Databases (DO-200, DO-276), DAA (DO-365), or DAA Radars (DO-366).
- Experience with FAA software and hardware certification standards (DO-178C, DO-330, DO-254, DO-160).

Aircraft Supersystem Integrator
We are looking for an Aircraft Supersystem Integrator to join our team. The goal of an Aircraft Supersystem Integrator at Wisk is to ensure that the elements of the Aircraft Supersystem (which includes the aircraft, ground system, interface to external systems, providers and services, and their operation within the National Airspace System) are integrated. You will be part of the Aircraft Supersystem Integration team within the Chief's Engineer Office that oversees integration across the aircraft supersystem, airspace, vertiport and operations/airline actors.
This is a hybrid work opportunity. At Wisk, this means working onsite at our Laval, Canada, office 3 days per week with flexibility for the remainder of the days.
