Responsibilities:
- System Support: Respond to daily support requests regarding our WMS and ERP systems. Use the ticketing system effectively to track and resolve issues, ensuring all support activities are logged and monitored.
- Data Management: Perform regular data imports and exports as required by the business teams. Ensure data integrity and accuracy in all transactions and reports.
- Troubleshooting: Identify, diagnose, and resolve issues related to the WMS and ERP systems. Work collaboratively with the IT team to implement longterm fixes.
- Documentation: Maintain accurate records of technical issues and resolutions to assist with future troubleshooting efforts. Update system documentation and help guides as needed.
- User Assistance and Training: Assist in training users on new systems and updates. Provide clear and effective guidance to endusers to enhance their understanding and use of IT systems.
- Additional duties as assigned.
Qualifications:
- Educational Background: Degree or certification in Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related field.
- Microsoft SQL and Excel: Strong experience with Microsoft SQL for database management and advanced proficiency in Excel for data manipulation and report generation.
- Experience with
Ticketing Systems:
Familiarity with using ticketing systems to manage, prioritize, and resolve support requests.
- Problem-
Solving Skills:
Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to troubleshoot and resolve issues quickly and efficiently.
- Communication Skills: Strong interpersonal and communication skills, capable of working effectively with both technical and nontechnical staff.
- Organizational Skills: Ability to manage multiple tasks and projects in a fastpaced environment, adhering to deadlines.
- Adaptability: Quick learner with the ability to adapt to new technologies and software updates.
- This position reports to the CTO
- This is a fulltime position scheduled from Monday to Friday, may be needed outside regular business hours when required
- This position is located at our head office in Guelph, Ontario, can be a hybrid working arrangement
