- The IT Platform Analyst is responsible for implementing, maintaining, and enhancing the reliability and stability of our cloud platform.
- As part of the role, the IT Platform Analyst will oversee and contribute to the cloud migration process, engineering system solutions, and addressing issues related to cloud infrastructure, systems, hardware, and software.
- Additionally, this role will act as the Product Owner for DevOps initiatives. Responsibility
- Create, implement, and manage cloud deployments using Infrastructure as Code (IaC).
- Provide support for operational management of the cloud platform, including monitoring, disaster recovery, security compliance/auditing, networking, storage, service brokers, and build packs.
- Manage access and maintain system documentation.
- Administer and oversee CI/CD pipelines, ensuring smooth integration with Azure services.
- Handle the administration and management of Jira and Confluence (Atlassian products).
- Collaborate with engineers to ensure technical and business skills readiness for cloud adoption.
- Perform ongoing system maintenance, including general cleanup, system monitoring and patching, installing and testing system patches, updates, and software.
- Establish and manage backup and recovery solutions, ensuring the reliability of systems and data restoration.
- Support the development, implementation, and adherence to service standards (, incident troubleshooting/resolution, escalation, change management), including providing related reporting for traceability and transparency.
- Participate in work groups, task forces, and special projects as assigned.
- Regularly review existing systems and make recommendations for improvements. Experience
- 4+ years of experience supporting cloud services in an enterprise environment.
- 4 years of hands-on experience with cloud deployments to Azure Using IaC.
- Experience with IaC practices (Infrastructure as Code).
- Understanding of DevOps, CI/CD pipelines, and GitHub Enterprise.
- Experience with Application Insights, Log Analytics, Express Route, Network Watcher, Azure Policy, Azure Blueprints, Azure Service Health, Azure Cost Management, and Azure Monitor will be highly valued.
- Proficient in the administration and management of Jira and Confluence.
- Experience with automation tools for system maintenance and efficiency. Competencies & Skills
- Understanding of the Microsoft Cloud Adoption Framework.
- Good scripting abilities (PowerShell, Bash, Python, Go, etc.).
- Strong problem-solving skills.
- Understanding of the Software Development Life Cycle and implementation of Continuous Integration and Continuous Deployment (CI/CD) pipeline architecture.
- Proficiency in executing and managing a variety of tasks, problems, and programs.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced, dynamic, and flexible hybrid office environment.
- Ability to work in a multi-team environment and drive the completion of deliverables.
- Ability to acquire, analyze, document, and communicate information relevant to the achievement of valued goals.
- Knowledge of and demonstrated ability in corporate core competencies, including customer service, communication, teamwork, initiative/self-management, accountability, flexibility, and adaptability. Education
- Successful completion of a university degree or college diploma in Computer science, Cybersecurity, information technology, software engineering, information systems, and computer engineering.
