As a VDC Coordinator working in our Innovation team at Pomerleau Construction, you will play a key role in inventing the future of design and construction by supporting and enabling project teams to thrive with state-of-the-art VDC tools and methods.

Working on large-scale building and infrastructure projects - ranging from $1.5 million to upwards of $1 billion, you will explore and support project growth and execution through BIM (Building Information Modelling) and VDC (Virtual Design and Construction).


What you will doCollaborate with the Project and BIM teams to support the implementation and usage of BIM/VDC processes.- Forge protocols for key elements -communication, exchange of data and 3D workspace.- Work alongside designers and trades, sculpting BIM content, organizing it our shared workplace platform and performing multidisciplinary support coordination.- Craft project specific contract language for tender packages for the BIM submission process.- You love to teach and mentor others who are still learning to use Revit, Navisworks and BIM 360.- Creatively design 4D simulations where the end users can experience their project in Virtual and Augmented Reality.- Piloting our drones, you will support our site logistics and quality assurance on the jobs, integrating a point-cloud from laser scan, or by using mobile technology.


This role could be for you if you haveYou have at least 3+years of BIM experience in the construction or architectural industry. You have successfully completed a university degree/technology diploma in engineering, engineering technology, architecture, or MEP technology, or a combination of education and construction industry experience. You are no stranger to working with BIM software, including REVIT, NavisWorks, BIM 360 and MS Project

Additional Assets Include:

  • Fluent in both official languages written and oral (English and French).
