Department Overview
The Productivity and Operational Excellence team is part of the Canadian Personal Banking (CPB) Chief Operating Office. This function enables a systemic approach to driving productivity and efficiency in the CPB organization.
Reporting to the Associate Vice President, Productivity and Operational Excellence, the Manager for Productivity & Operational Efficiency plays a critical role in analyzing, tracking and reporting on expense management opportunities across CPB to better serve our customer needs, reduce costs and enhance revenue.
- Supporting the execution and delivery of the Productivity vision for CPB
- Work with the CPB organization and direct leadership to define, maintain and support reporting on productivity metrics at various levels.
- Supporting in tracking and reporting for CPB and across LOB
- Help drive business performance to meet targets by identifying expense savings opportunities working with key business leaders at Senior Manager and above across CPB and the rest of the organization.
- Analyze financial and operational metrics for areas of opportunity.
- Work closely with finance, change management resources and CAPA to ensure impacts are managed and help with the 'run' aspects of the productivity organization.
- Participate in maintaining the inventory of process improvements and selection/prioritization of initiatives for the team.
- Support maturity of the CPB Productivity governance and operating model
Job Requirements
- Possess strong business acumen.
- Strategic, analytical, and innovative problem solver.
- Comfortable navigating a space that is not well defined, ambiguous, and complex at times.
- Strong communicator with an ability to clearly articulate the business issue, supporting facts, and the rationale/business value for recommended solutions.
- Collaborative with flexibility to adapt and manage within a dynamic business environment.
- Resultsoriented, confident selfstarter, relationship builder with the ability to obtain consensus among key stakeholders.
- Highly motivated individual with willingness to take initiative and propose pragmatic solutions to complex challenges and issues.
- Organizational awareness and ability to influence and balance viewpoints of various key stakeholder groups.
- Financial experience is considered an asset.
- Previous Strategy and/or Innovation experience with a sound knowledge of TD Platforms is a definite asset.
