Overview:
We are seeking a Maintenance Technician to join our team.

As a Maintenance Technician, you will be responsible for performing various maintenance and repair tasks to ensure the efficient operation of our facilities.

This is a hands-on role that requires strong technical skills and the ability to work independently.

• Maintain ongoing maintenance operation for hotel, including refrigeration, heating, plumbing, water treatment, preventive maintenance, hotel rooms, A/C units, ice machines, pools, lighting, kitchen equipment, emergency generators, switch rooms, roof exhausts, electrical substations, etc.
• Ensure projects are completed according to specifications and on time by studying work schedules and estimating workerhour requirements for completion. Establish or adjust work procedures to meet production schedules.
• Work closely with Housekeeping and Front Desk to ensure coordination of activities. May confer with other supervisors to coordinate activities of individual departments.
• Order material and completing assignments by a specified date.
• Analyze and resolve work problems, or assist workers in solving problems. Initiate or suggest plans to motivate workers.
• Interprets specifications, job orders, and company policies to workers and enforces safety regulations.
• Establishes or adjusts work procedures to meet production schedules, recommends measures to improve production.
• Troubleshooting and set up of machines and equipment.
• All other duties assigned by management.

The qualifications for this position are as follows:

• Ability to work in a team setting with little or no supervision.
• 1 year experience in the maintenance field and experience in the plumbing, electrical, and painting trades; OR, an equivalent combination of education & experience.
• Starting wage will be based on previous experience, skills, and abilities.
• Commitment to succeed in a teamoriented environment.
• Maintaining high standards of professionalism, ethics, and attitude.
• Good organizational and interpersonal skills.

Salary:
$19.00-$21.00 per hour

• 8 hour shift
• Day shift
• Evening shift
• Monday to Friday
• Weekends as needed

Education:

• Secondary School (preferred)

Experience:

• Maintenance: 1 year (preferred)
