Position Overview:
The Business Training & Support Coordinator will work as a member of the Advisor Experience & Growth team supporting learning and development efforts.
Primary responsibility is to develop and deliver customized training solutions to support retail brokerage procedures and technology across Richardson Wealth.
A key objective is to help Investment Advisor Teams build highly successful businesses by empowering them to be as efficient as possible in navigating the Richardson Wealth platform.
Duties & Responsibilities:
- Proactively provide teams with best practices on system use and efficiency in cooperation with Branch Management Teams
- Communicate and support use of appropriate and current policies and procedures related to Operations
- Maintain and update training materials and Training intranet within branding guidelines as required
- Ensure training content is kept up to date on a regular basis by deploying a review/update process that is maintained
- Host branch/firm wide training webinars on system related topics as required.
- Respond and manage all inquiries received on the Training OTRS queue in a professional, timely and courteous manner
- Answer and respond to all phone calls on the Training Support line on a timely basis
- Coordinate third party training with external vendors (Maximizer, Thomson)
- Partner with RWL departments to help facilitate and implement organized or Ad Hoc software training
- Support short term and long term training initiatives under direction
Skills & Qualifications:
- 25 years as a Sales Associate or Retail brokerage training experience
- Strong communication skills
- Positive attitude and ability to work with various personality types
- Ability to take initiative and be solution oriented
- Analytical and organizational skills
- Leadership and project management skills
- Knowledge of wealth management operations
- Knowledge of Dataphile, Croesus & SharePoint would be an asset but not required
- Solid knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite
- Ability to travel / overtime hours may be required
- French language comprehension considered an asset
Education:
- Postsecondary education
- Completion or willingness to work towards completion of the Canadian Securities Course (CSC) and Conduct and Practices Handbook Course (CPH)
