Job Summary:
We are seeking a skilled and experienced Catering Manager to oversee our catering operations. The Catering Manager will be responsible for planning, organizing, and executing all aspects of our catering services. This is a leadership role that requires excellent communication, organizational, and customer service skills.


Responsibilities:

• Manage all aspects of catering operations, including menu planning, food preparation, and delivery
• Coordinate with clients to understand their specific event requirements and ensure their needs are met
• Hire, train, and supervise catering staff, including bartenders and servers
• Oversee food production and ensure high quality and presentation standards are maintained
• Maintain inventory of supplies and equipment, and place orders as needed
• Collaborate with the kitchen team to develop new menu items and improve existing offerings
• Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations in food handling and preparation
• Handle customer inquiries, complaints, and special requests in a professional manner
• Monitor financial performance of the catering department and implement cost control measures

Skills:

• Strong leadership abilities with the ability to motivate and inspire a team
• Excellent interviewing and hiring skills to build a competent catering staff
• Extensive knowledge of hospitality industry practices and trends
• Experience in bartending or beverage service is highly desirable
• Solid understanding of food industry standards, including food safety regulations
• Familiarity with kitchen operations and restaurant management principles
• Exceptional customer service skills to provide an outstanding experience for clients
• Ability to handle highpressure situations with calmness and professionalism

From $51,800.00 per year
