Description

Responsibilities:


  • Makes sure safety is the number one priority
  • Helps to arrange for shipping and prepares shipments and shipping documents as needed
  • Receives materials and puts them away
  • Makes sure all lines have the required materials they need for production
  • Occasionally works with the machine operation team
  • Loads and unloads trucks
  • Report improper shipment or damaged goods to the Supervisor and/or Warehouse Manager
  • Operates warehouse equipment like the reach and pump truck (we can train on this)
  • Immediately report any machine/equipment issues during the shift to the Lead Hand or Warehouse Manager
  • Immediately reportany noticeable safety hazards in the warehouse to the Lead Hand or Warehouse Manager
  • Suggests ways to improve shipping/receiving processes
  • Other duties as assigned

Requirements and Skills:


  • Some shipping/receiving experience
  • Ability to lift relatively heavy loads
  • High attention to detail
  • Proactive personality
  • Willingness to work the morning shift (7:00am to 3:30pm)
  • Ability to use a computer and other Office and ERP software
  • Understanding of shipping/receiving processes
- "Do it Right the First Time" mentality

  • Team player
