    Registered Dietitian - MRHH C3 Purple Mental Health

    Permanent Full Time

    The Registered Dietitian is responsible for the provision of nutritional care for patients as established by the College of Dietitians of Ontario and the hospitals' standards of nutrition care. The Registered Dietitian actively participates within the healthcare team and collaborates with other Registered Dietitians to ensure effective and current dietetic practice and achieve excellence in patient care.

  • What must you have?

  • Current Registration and in good standing with the College of Dietitians of Ontario.
  • Graduate of a recognized university program (majoring in food and nutrition) and successful completion of a Dietetic Internship or Practicum.
  • Current Basic Cardiac Life Support (BCLS) certificate.
  • Ability to work with patients on an individual basis and providing an educational group.
  • Ability to work with an interdisciplinary team to provide holistic treatment.

  • Preferably, your profile also includes:

  • Two (2) years clinical experience.
  • Previous experience in Mental Health.
  • Knowledge of Mental Health Diagnosis, Treatment, and Metabolic Concerns related to common Mental Health Medications.
  • Ability to speak a second language.
