Job Requirements:


  • Current and Valid certificate of registration from the College of Medical Radiation Technologists of Ontario
  • Attend and document attendance at relevant continuing medical education programs as mandated by the CMRTO
  • You will provide excellent patient care and assume responsibility for the production of quality radiographs.
  • Also responsible for duties related to diagnostic radiology, such as xray examinations, clerical functions, film processing, and general upkeep of equipment.
  • Undertaking initiatives to improve the flow and volume of the radiology department.
  • Responsible for working together with all staff to ensure all work is complete before the end of the working day.
  • Set and adjust priorities and organize work in response to department needs.
  • Ensure all paper work and billing is completed daily
  • Participate in QA meetings
  • Ensure all equipment is properly maintained while ensuring records are maintained for all inspections.
  • Report to Radiologist as it related to quality assurance.
  • Be familiar with the functions, capabilities, specifications, and hazards of materials and equipment being used each day.
  • Follow "Standards of Practice" as outlined from the College of Medical Radiation Technologists of Ontario.
  • Follow Quality Assurance Program as outlined from the College of Medical Radiation Technologists of Ontario.
  • Keep uptodate procedure manuals indicating policies and standards as indicated in the Clinical Parameters & Facility Standards for Diagnostic Imaging.

Part-time

Part-time hours: 14 per week


Salary:
$35.00-$40.00 per hour
