Associated Ambulance is currently accepting expressions of interest for an HR Payroll/Accounting Generalist to join our Team Enjoy a wide variety of tasks and duties while working with a supportive and friendly team.

This is a permanent FTE 1.0 position scheduled to start August 1, 2023. Monday to Friday 8am-4pm.


THE POSITION:


The Role Includes Such Tasks As:

  • Recruitment and onboarding of Front-line staff to meet the organizational needs and growth of the company
  • Manage internal and external job postings, interviews and offer letters
  • Maintain data integrity and ensure accuracy of information stored in HRIS
  • Prepare, enter and process data for semimonthly payroll in a timely and accurate manner
  • Research and resolve payroll discrpencies and/or errors
  • Complete additional HR & payrollrelated tasks as required
  • A/P Data Entry
  • Coding Payables to the GL
  • Reconciling statements & preparing payments
  • Spreadsheet maintenance
  • Filing & record keeping
  • Other accounting duties as required

REQUIRED SKILLS

  • Full cycle payroll processing knowlege
  • A critical thinker who can process a high volume of documents and accomplish several duties accurately and in a timely manner.
  • Strong attention to detail and accuracy
  • Awareness of payroll, accounting and HRIS best practices
  • Familiarity working with Collective Bargaining Agreements
  • Postsecondary HR and/or payroll and/or accounting education
  • 13 years relative HR/payroll/accounting experience
  • Experience with Bamboo & Sage and/or working with HRIS, payroll and accounting software programs
  • Intermediate Excel experience
  • Proficient in all Microsoft platforms
  • Well organized with excellent time managment skills
  • Work well under pressure and the ability to meet deadlines consistently
