Counting mycorrhizal propagules
Extracting DNA
Culturing microorganisms
Taking physicochemical soil measurements
Performing soil spectroscopy
Writing technical reports and scientific articles (as first author)

Your résumé.

A list of the courses you have taken as well as any courses that you are taking now, or that you will be taking this academic year

Education:

Currently enrolled or will be enrolled by the date of appointment in a master's program at a recognized post-secondary institution with a specialization in biology.

Degree equivalency

Experience:

Experience* counting mycorrhizal propagules in soils.

Experience* in spectroscopy.

In the context of student recruitment in the Federal Public Service, the experience can be acquired through studies, work experience, or volunteer activities.

French essential

Information on language requirements

Knowledge:
Knowledge of the R programming language.

Abilities:
Ability to cultivate micro-organisms (fungi and bacteria) and maintain a microbial culture bank without supervision.

Ability to communicate in writing and orally to present research results through (i) reports or peer reviewed articles and (ii) oral presentations at national or international conferences.
