We are seeking an outgoing and determined National Account Manager to join our Coffee team


Position Summary:


Reporting to the Director, Coffee Sales, the National Account Manager, Coffee is responsible for the achievement of forecast and trade spend goals within the designated customer group.

As the visible leader to the customer, the NAM, Coffee leads the strategic development, management, and execution of a customer specific go-to-market approach.


Key Accountabilities:


  • Develop and establish key business relationships, taking the business to the next level, and aiming at driving profitable volume growth;
  • Customer business plan development to align company strategy with customer business needs in order to achieve annual forecast;
  • Manage customer trade funding and promo calendar to ensure profitable growth and maximized ROI;
  • Develop and execute an aggressive merchandising support plan for all existing and new products, capitalizing on customer advertising and promotional activity opportunities;
  • Leverage industry/customer insights with key decisionmakers to influence strategy execution;
  • Cross functional team engagement to support the execution of annual marketing and demand planning objectives;
  • Complete monthly business reviews with brand partners, tracking performance against prealigned targets and key initiatives.

Requirements:


  • University Degree or College Diploma with minimum 510 years of industry experience;
  • Experience in retail coffee industry preferred with minimum 5 years previous experience calling on National Retail Banners, must have handled key accounts Loblaws and Shoppers Drug Mart;
  • Managing multiple stakeholders
  • Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to establish relationships;
  • Proven track record of delivering results
  • Understands & practices "solution selling"; willingness to develop sales strategies and motivated to learn more;
  • Strong computer skills with proficiency in MS Office (PowerPoint, Excel, Word, Teams);
  • Ability to travel.
