Requirements:


KEY (CORE) DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:


  • Create and update resource loaded schedules
  • Assist in planning, coordinating and executing project planning and scheduling activities with project managers and other project stakeholders as requested
  • Understand corporate Work Breakdown Structures (WBS) and how the structures are integrated into Primavera
  • Create and provide analysis on daily and weekly cost and productivity reports
  • Evaluate actual construction progress and provide regular schedule updates
  • Generate lookaheads for project teams as requested
  • Understand scheduling logic/sequencing with the ability to understand errors and correct where needed
  • Incorporate change orders into schedules and forecasts, as necessary
  • Assist in the creation of TILOS schedules
  • Understand Critical Path Management (CPM) and how it affects deliverables
  • Assist in budget creation, project tracking and financial forecasts
  • Assist in the creation of other reports and project analytics

EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE:


  • Postsecondary education in Engineering, Business or Finance
  • Good working knowledge of scheduling concepts and training in Primavera P6 or MS Project
  • Good working knowledge of Microsoft Office, particularly Excel
  • Knowledge and /or experience with TILOS is considered an asset
  • Knowledge and/or experience in Work Breakdown Structure (WBS) and Critical Path Management (CPM) are considered assets, but not required
  • Knowledge and/or experience in Power BI is considered an asset, but not required
  • Excellent written, oral and verbal communication skills
  • Good analytical, problemsolving and decision making skills
