SUMMARY:


The Production Department Coordinator is responsible for coordinating the continuity between the teams and the daily management in order to execute the production plan on all the teams.

He is also responsible for implementing improvement projects for the department.


RESPONSIBILITIES:


  • The production department coordinator is responsible for coordinating the following elements within the teams:
  • The health and safety of its employees;
  • Continuous improvement and project progress;
  • The quality of products and documents;
  • Compliance with GMPs and internal sanitation programs;
  • The performance of its sector;
  • Customer satisfaction (internal and external)
  • He plans and organizes the continuous improvement of his sector by establishing standard processes;
  • He actively participates in the planning of continuous improvement projects (Kaizen) in his sector, he manages critical projects himself and accompanies employees in the projects they have to deliver;
  • Irreproachable in his attitude, he audits the processes in place, the work of the supervisors and gives them advice and support in their daily work;
  • Concerned about the importance of resources, he ensures the wellbeing of employees and is attentive to people's needs. He communicates the vision of the factory and explains how the sector will contribute to it and ensures to have a team well aligned with the values and the mission of the company.;
  • He ensures the coordination of action plans in terms of health and safety, quality, service, productivity, waste and costs for the department in partnership with all the necessary support functions.

QUALIFICATIONS:


  • Bachelor's degree in science or engineering;
  • 23 years of experience in the manufacturing industry;
  • Essential bilingualism (French and English);
  • Available to support all work teams schedule;
  • Management experience (an asset);
  • Experience in continuous improvement (an asset).
