    Description

    Tasks/Responsibilities

    The IT Technician will be responsible for providing technical support to employees in more than 20 offices in Canada of a company in strong growth and acquisition process.

    MORE PRECISELY

    • Respond to technical support requests (remote and in person)
    • Install, configure, and maintain computer hardware and software used in the company
    • Support employees in configuring their mobile devices
    • Prioritize and document issues in the Jira ticketing system
    • Promote compliance with cybersecurity policies and process automation
    • Create user manuals and participate in technical training of employees
    • Be at the heart of an IT team of around ten people (Tech., Admin., Architect, Director, VP IT)
    • Work in a DELL hyperconverged infrastructure, mainly on Windows, Microsoft 365, Azure, VMware, Fortinet/FortiGate/FortiSwitch

    PROFILE

    • 2+ years of experience as a Computer Technician, including at least 1 year in Quebec
    • Experience with Windows and Microsoft 365 environment
    • Hold a valid driving license (class 5) and be open to occasional travel to Quebec
    • Professional experience with a ticketing system, ideally Jira
    • Knowledge of PowerShell / Power Automate automation (asset)
    • Experience in technical support on mobile devices (cellular and/or tablets, iOS and/or Android)
    • Good knowledge of networking (IP, VLAN, subnets, routers, switches, etc.)
    • Knowledge of Fortinet/FortiGate/FortiSwitch (assets)
    • Strong mutual aid skills, collaborative spirit, and proactivity
    • AEC or DEC in computer science or equivalent
    • Bilingualism (French required, functional English)
