What you will do:


How you will do it:


  • Receive, update and complete assigned preventative and demand maintenance works orders within the CMMS (Computerized Maintenance Management System) QFM.
  • Respond to and rectify assigned tasks in general facility services, equipment repair, HVAC (Heating Ventilation and Air Conditioning), plumbing, electrical, painting and carpentry.
  • Source, plan and organized required tools and materials for daytoday task and projects
  • Use building prints, schematics and other available documents while troubleshooting system failures and work requests.
  • Solid understanding of building systems with an ability to operate a variety of hand tools and machines.
  • Performs all work in accordance with established safety procedures and aligns with all company policies.

What we look for:


Required:


  • Completion of a twoyear technical degree or equivalent plus 5 years' experience in a Facility Maintenance environment.
  • Building systems knowledge including troubleshooting, repair and replacement etc.
  • Requires indepth knowledge of various maintenance fundamentals sufficient to look after service and repairs.
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills. Ability to work independently on tasks and as part of a team.
  • Working and operating knowledge of computers as well as Microsoft Office suite (Outlook, word, excel)
  • Must be physically able to perform basic maintenance tasks to the highest caliber, which includes ability to: climb ladders, operate machinery, lift heavy objects weighing up to 50 lbs, etc.
  • Flexible schedule (including night shifts), weekends and holidays on a rotational shift schedule.
  • Strong interpersonal and time management skills
  • Strong customer service skills

Preferred:


  • Experience working in a health care setting
  • Experience with painting and interior finish work
  • Experience with wheeled equipment repair and maintenance
  • Plumbing experience/license
  • Electrical experience/license
  • Lock smithing experience
