What you will do:

How you will do it:

Receive, update and complete assigned preventative and demand maintenance works orders within the CMMS (Computerized Maintenance Management System) QFM.
Respond to and rectify assigned tasks in general facility services, equipment repair, HVAC (Heating Ventilation and Air Conditioning), plumbing, electrical, painting and carpentry.
Source, plan and organized required tools and materials for daytoday task and projects
Use building prints, schematics and other available documents while troubleshooting system failures and work requests.
Solid understanding of building systems with an ability to operate a variety of hand tools and machines.
Performs all work in accordance with established safety procedures and aligns with all company policies.

What we look for:

Required:

Completion of a twoyear technical degree or equivalent plus 5 years' experience in a Facility Maintenance environment.
Building systems knowledge including troubleshooting, repair and replacement etc.
Requires indepth knowledge of various maintenance fundamentals sufficient to look after service and repairs.
Strong verbal and written communication skills. Ability to work independently on tasks and as part of a team.
Working and operating knowledge of computers as well as Microsoft Office suite (Outlook, word, excel)
Must be physically able to perform basic maintenance tasks to the highest caliber, which includes ability to: climb ladders, operate machinery, lift heavy objects weighing up to 50 lbs, etc.
Flexible schedule (including night shifts), weekends and holidays on a rotational shift schedule.
Strong interpersonal and time management skills
Strong customer service skills

Preferred:

Experience working in a health care setting
Experience with painting and interior finish work
Experience with wheeled equipment repair and maintenance
Plumbing experience/license
Electrical experience/license
Lock smithing experience
