Our BC head office location is seeking an experienced full-time
Research Scientist to support our diverse and talented team.

What you will do:

Some specific duties and tasks include, but are not limited to, the following:

Responsible for independently planning and developing new lines of functional biomolecular technology that can be applied in vitro disease diagnostic platforms.
Designing, planning, and executing experiments, either independently or in collaboration with your teammates.
Organizing, supporting and collaborating with other team members to meet project deliverables and timelines.
Manage projects related to recombinant genetic engineering, such as PCR and protein expression that use various vector systems in Prokaryotic and eukaryotic systems.
Utilize ELISA, Western Blot, protein labeling, and chemical conjugation etc.
Generate technical documentation following industry and international standards, provide preand postproduct launch support.

Qualifications:

PhD in Biology, Biochemistry, or related discipline education with relevant experience, such as molecular biology, immunology, and genetics.
Skilled presenter to deliver technical summaries of data with criticalthinking skills to provide indepth analytical explanations and interpretations.
Ability to work in a dynamic and fastpaced team environment.
Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to work collaboratively as a member of a crossfunctional team.
Excellent documentation and organizational skills.
Strong verbal and written communication skills.

Preferred:

2+ years of working and project management experience.
Familiar with authoring/reviewing regulatory and product certificate submissions.
Able to work in a selfdirected manner, demonstrate initiative, and are willing to work flexible hours.
Able to think critically under pressure and is curious about exploring new technologies and developments in the field.
Bilingual: Mandarin, Chinese
