Description

RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Inspect and repair flaws in steel castings;
  • Clean machines and general work areas in both facilities;
  • Assembly of parts;
  • Pick and pack;
  • Perform other tasks as assigned.

QUALIFICATIONS

  • High School Diploma;
  • Minimum 2 years experience as a General Labourer in a Manufacturing environment;
  • Must have experience in using hand and power tools minimum 6 months experience in welding and grinding;
  • Good manual workmanship skills;
  • Possess manual dexterity and good handeye coordination;
  • Ability to follow instructions and procedures;
  • High attention to detail on repetitive tasks;
  • Lifting up to 50lbs;
  • Forklift experience an asset;
  • Operate overhead crane (training provided);
  • Highly punctual;
  • Able to work as a functioning member of a team;
  • Safety conscious individual;
  • Ability to troubleshoot and problem solve effectively and efficiently;
  • Knowledge of production quality standards; Work experience in an ISO Certified environment an asset.
  • Note: May work in both Bishop and Sheldon location.
