Responsibilities:
As our Network Technician, you will be responsible for:

  • Collaborating with peers to execute daily operations and special projects
  • Updating and maintaining network equipment
  • Maintaining and resolving issues on LAN/WAN, VPN remote connectivity, VoIP telephone, and AV system connections
  • Ensuring desktop and laptop computers interconnect seamlessly with diverse systems
  • Coordinating with vendors to resolve technical problems with network equipment and software
  • Maintaining records of client's information systems and ensuring compliance at all levels within project teams
  • Sharing knowledge, discoveries, ideas, challenges, and solutions with peers, managers, and executives
  • Support, configure, maintain and upgrade corporate networks and in house servers

Qualifications:

Qualifications required:


  • University degree or diploma in computer science, information systems or a related field, and typically 5 or more years of related experience; or combination of formal education and experience.
  • Demonstrated ability to identify problematic areas and implement strategic solutions in time.
  • Expertise in a Windows Server environment
  • In depth knowledge of VMWare vCenter required
  • Ability to evaluate and install computer hardware, network software, and operating system software
  • Excellent attentiontodetail and ability to stay organized in a fastpaced environment
  • Hands on experience in networking, routing and switching
  • Excellent knowledge of best practices around management, control, and monitoring of server infrastructure
  • General hours are Monday to Friday 7:00AM to 4:00PM, however provide assistance after hours and on weekends as required.
